Greetings to you Laurë. I don’t know if you’ll get this letter, you told me where you were heading, so I asked the messenger to send it there but you might have left already, if you arrived there yet. Aldamir might be a pain sometimes, but he still accepted to find me messengers for those letters we promised to send each other. Please, tell me you’ve arrived safe and sound. We keep hearing all sorts of rumours. It’s true you’re not heading east, directly towards the danger, but it’s still not as safe as it used to. Everyone is more or less worried for you, even Aladmir even though he refuses to admit it. Rabryn wishes you’ll come back to us someday in one piece. Balder started his lessons amongst scholars. I think he’s a bit interested by medicine and philosophy. Who knows, maybe we’ll get a doctor in the family. He may be weak physically, but he doesn’t flinch at the view of blood. Oh, but you don’t know about that, let me explain... Father got injured today. Some crazed people declared that Mordor was going down upon us, that it was the end and that we should all surrender, run away or die. As guards, my brothers and him tried t stop them. Father was hit by a rock to the head, which opened his forehead. He also fell due to the impact and badly injured his leg - talk of bad luck! My brothers brought him back home and Aldamir went searching for a healer. He’ll be fine, don’t worry, he just won’t be able to work for a time. Hopefully, we’ve got Rabryn and Aldamir to bring in money in the meantime. Balder watched the healer take care of our father with our mother’s help. He seemed fascinated and was the only one who didn’t turn pale at the vision of the bone of his leg. They promised us he’ll walk again, but for now, he stays in bed all day, unable to even stand up. There isn’t much else new around here. Perhaps you recall that guard that kept eyeing you? Well, now he’s eyeing me. But thanks to my brothers I know his reputation, trust me, he won’t be the one having me! Stay safe, Sorsha

Dear Laurë, I hope you are safe on those roads. I don’t know where you found the courage to go on such a journey but I pray you come back to us someday. Jossian is also praying for your travels to go without incident. We know you travel with soldiers - at least you did when you left - so you are relatively safe, but they would certainly not follow you at all steps. Please, don’t travel alone, even less at night. Use the money I give you to find a guide if that is possible. I know you are an able woman but forgive me if I still think it is not something you should do all by yourself. I don’t think anyone should travel alone these days.
Do not worry for us, we are all happy and protected. Sure, there are some rumours and certain people are panicking with all those orcs invading our lands and all. But Minas Tirith is a huge and well protected citadel, it will take more than a few hundreds of them to get there and destroy us. Your uncle has a bit of rheumatism, but I bought him a cream and apparently it helps soothe the pain. I told him not to work on the jewels anymore, it hurts him too much. He still helps me in the shop, talking to the customers and taking the orders. I don’t think he’d be able to simply sit by a fire all day long anyway, he’s always been a little feisty.
I suppose you will demand news of me and Arien. We both work very hard in our own shops and see each other only when we can. I visit her when Jossian closes the shop, to eat with her, when she doesn’t join us to our apartment for the meal. She seems to like coming and talk to us both. Father claims I’m opening more, I’m not that sure about it. But perhaps will you get news from Arien yourself and she might be able to give you more information. Anyway, I hope you take care of yourself and come back soon. if not, then write, so that we know you are still here with us. We mourned you once, which pained us greatly, we wouldn’t like to lose you a second time.

Dear Sorsha,
Forgive the lateness of my response; I have been travelling for the two weeks travelling down the Andin River. I have stopped in the town called Lossarnach, it is small but there are many people, a strange compared to my hometown. Your father got injured? Tell him I wish him to get well as soon as he can. I wouldn’t want to be stuck in my bed all day, which is why I’m travelling to find myself.
However, I’m slightly disappointed that Balder thinks I’m not strong enough to remain in one piece...never mind, I’m just kidding. I’m working in a hospital, learning the new medicines and helping the kids. I like that actually and the kids are happy to see me when I come, maybe I will become a healer as a living, I don’t know yet.
Yes, I remember the man, who was hitting on me once, he was a pain in the neck, and please, if you ever have to endure him, hit him for me! He deserves it. I wish to your family the best of the lucks, and tell to Aldamir to loosen up, I bet he’s even less approachable than he was before.
Laurë
--------------------------------------------------------- Dear Keann,
I know that it might be difficult for you and my uncle, but I couldn’t take it anymore, I was lost and I still am somehow, I hope you will both forgive me some day, but I promise I will come back, I miss you both.I still am travelling with soldiers, I live in the town of Lossarnach for the time being, but I plan on living in five months to see what there is more in the country.
I understand that uncle might feel awful not to be able to work as much as he could, did you suggest him to find a hobby? Maybe it would help! To ease your worries; I haven’t seen a single orc ever since the first day I’ve travelled. The solders I’m travelling with are gentlemen and take a good care of me.
I have found a liking into healing people, kids mostly, I take this in high consideration for a future job maybe, but I’m not sure yet.
Of course, I will demand news of you and Arien! It took you so long before you two hooked up, I bet you’ve had a crush on the woman since forever! I also take a good care of your gift, I love it and when the kid question me about it, I always tell them wonderful stories about the jewelleries you make; they’re amazed and are so sweet but also find it funny that you are so shy with your lady (ahah).
Talk to you soon, I will be back home sooner than you think.
Laurë.

Dear Laurë, You have no idea how happy I was when I got your letter. I had been thinking the craziest of things, fearing something might have happened to you or something. We know you have to do this journey to find yourself but we’re all worried of what could happen to you. It is such dark times. Father can walk again, but with crutches. It annoys him, because he cannot go as far as he’s used to but it’s better that he takes things slowly instead of aggravating things. My brothers say there are a lot of people afraid. Many soldiers are coming back injured from Osgiliath and even if Lord Boromir and his brother Faramir are good leaders and fighters, it doesn’t change the fact it is dangerous. Everyone wants to do their parts but in the same time, we feel helpless.
Rabryn invited a woman to the house yesterday. She seemed very much in love and so did him, but we know better. She’s the fourth girl he brings like that, claiming he’d marry her. In the end, there’s always something that makes him fall out of love. Oh well, maybe she’s the lucky one as mother keeps saying. Aldamir invited someone too. They didn’t seem as close as Rabryn and wife number four but you know my brother, he’s not really good at showing his emotions. And I don’t like her. She treats me like some stupid little girl that is meddling in her older brothers’ business. Aldamir keeps saying she doesn’t but that’s the feeling I have. Anyway, I don’t think they’re really in love. I haven’t seen him kiss her once and they weren’t trying to get closer of each other. He still brought her back home but I’m wondering if he likes her for real or not. Like I said, you can never know exactly how he feels, he keeps everything inside.
He actually asked after your letter when he saw we received some, can you believe it. They all sat around me as I read it to them. I hope you don’t mind. I’m sure you don’t. Anyway, if you were to tell something just for me, I’ll keep it to myself but there wasn’t anything much secret in your letter. They’re happy you found a passion and wish you all luck in it. Me too, of course. I haven’t seen the man. I know Rabryn came to talk to him when he forced me to endure his presence while I was shopping for my mother. He accompanied me all the time and kept complimenting me and things like that. But it sounded so arrogant! I haven’t seen him since my brother had a chat with him so I figure he got the message.
You’ll find a bit of money. Mother thought that if you wanted to buy books or a man to teach you the career of a healer you might need some. Good luck.
Sorsha

Dear Laurë, We received your letter and are glad you received ours. We get that you felt the need to find your own self, who you truly are. We simply hope that you find what were went looking for so you can come back safely. You are our only family and would not like to lose you. But you understand all of this, perhaps better than we do and I wish not to bring back painful memories. We’re glad that you decided to make a stop at a town relatively protected and known and that the journey was safe. I hope it will remain that way when you’ll take the road again. I just hope the soldiers don’t take too much good care of you.
Jossian liked the idea of the hobby but he explained that at his age, it’s not the time to change. Still, I get him some books when I can. His sight may not be as good as it used to, but with the light he can enjoy it. He maintains he is too old to have adventures but too young to simply sit and watch.
It is amazing that you have a passion for kids. You know we have the healing houses here, should you decide to pursue that career, I’ll be glad to help you. I’m sure they would be happy to have someone like you. Or you can take care of the kids. So many families have been now mourning a father and a husband, having an extra hand with the children sure is welcomed.
And please, I beg you, stop talking of my life. I have no problem in you talking of my job and whoever important I might meet with, but refrain yourself when it comes of Arien. We’re not all like you. And I cannot have loved her since forever, she arrived in town only a few years ago. She told me she wrote to you, so I suppose I don’t need to give you any more details.
Just be safe, Keann

Dear Sorsha, I still am fine and studying, watching the older women that take care of the children. The more I watch them, the more I enjoy it. I understand your fear for I have also heard the news about the orcs invading a few more towns, I have known better with my mother and I know what I’ll ever have to face if they come again, but I certainly am hoping they won’t. I don’t want to live that a second time.
Rabryn found another woman? At least he treats the ladies well, who knows; maybe she’ll be the one. I have faith that Rabryn will settle down when it’ll be the time, just give him the chance, maybe a woman will be able to keep him tied, I’d like to see that! Are you kidding? Aldamir actually got a girlfriend? I’m quite surprised there! What’s her name? Is she a stuck up like he is? Bet they’re both serious and boring like! He needed to loosen up, but the girl, by the description you’re giving me, is going to turn him even worse than how he is! Keep me in touch, I want to know the details!
He did? I always knew that he was a sweet inside (just don’t tell him that) who knows, maybe the girl will turn him into someone good, but I’m not so sure.
Money? You didn’t have to! But I appreciate it greatly, thank you very much, I miss you all,
Laurë __________________
Dear Keann, I am happy that Jossian liked the idea, tell him that you don’t need to change to find yourself a hobby, some people like to write, other to practice music or arts. What passionate him the most? This might help him, I’m sure he’ll find something he likes to do, I have faith in him.
There are in Gondor? I’ll keep that in mind, when I’ll come back I’ll find a job in there and with your help. Aw, you don’t want me to talk about you? But the kids like it, however, if you wish not to I will stop, I promise.
Arien did write me a letter or two, telling me that you two walked together in the streets of Mordor, holding hands, you actually managed to hold her hand through the entire road? I’m quite surprised there! Maybe someday, you’ll even be able to kiss her!
Speaking of the soldier, don’t worry, if any of them try to make a move I don’t appreciate, I make sure they get t clear, you should know by now that I’m a tough girl!
Just be a man, Laurë

Dear Laurë, For now, Jossian is more busy proving he’s still worthy of working. He doesn’t do much when it comes of creating the objects but he can work at the shop and sell things to people. I also send him with the parcels to the clients. He appreciates it. You might not know but he worked all his life and changing this drastically is painful to him. But I still make sure he has time to rest and enjoy himself.
I’d be glad to help you with the healing houses. You might have to study more than you do now but I’m sure you won’t find that an obstacle. And yes, I would prefer you don’t go and tell the story of my life to everyone, including kids. A good thing Jossian didn’t read your letter, really. You’re not really fnny with your teasing. I can walk with Arien without fainting, I’ll have you know, I did that many times in the past. And I kissed her! But that is not of your business, it is only mine and hers. I don’t need to show my likeness for her to everyone around.
I know you are tough, but you can’t expect me not to worry for my cousin, right? If you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask, I’ll do everything I can to help you.
Just come home safely, Keann

Dear Laurë, Yes, I know for your mother. Aldamir, when I told that part, nodded and said that at least you had some common sense. He still believes that you were a bit reckless going there by yourself. I think he just can’t believe a girl is more courageous than him. You told me the entire story, right? He seemed to know better just how much it might make you suffer. I don’t hold it against you, I know that he can be a good man when he wants to and it must be hard to keep repeating it.
Oh, and for Rabryn’s girlfriend, you can forget her, he left her about two weeks after. She invited him to her family and they kept talking of children and family. I think it scared him off. That was just too soon, I guess. He wasn’t ready to marry her yet and she seemed to consider that as obvious. But Aldamir is still with miss perfect. And yes she is as stuck up. Her name is Ellandhra. I don’t quite get their relationship, sometimes Aldamir finds me annoying to treat her that way and at other times he doesn’t want to see her. And she isn’t cheap! He went to your cousin’s shop to buy her a brooch and she demanded emeralds and aquamarines. It was for her birthday or something, I didn’t ask for more details, I was too shocked to find out he spent his pay of the month to buy her this. She thinks she deserves that much. Aldamir will be ruined if he ever decides to marry her. But we’re not there, hopefully.
Aldamir said it was getting tough to find messengers, most of them either turned guards or working for the army. But he managed with Rabryn to get a friend among the guards to send them to you. And don’t worry for my father, he still has crutches but he uses them less and less.
Hope to see you soon, Sorsha

Dear Keann, I feel sorry for Jossian, how does he take it? Does he still like to give tips to the people that come to the shop? How is the shop going by the way? Are you getting new customers? I heard that Arien’s gonig quite well.
I am happy that you will help me, I know that when it will be the time for me to come back home, I’ll have as much of support as I had before, it may be late for me to say it but I wanted to thank you and Jossian for what you have both done for me. Don’t worry, I’m not sharing your life to everyone-anymore, even though it was fun to do- but the kids still love to hear about the amazing jewels you could make for these people in the high society.
I knew you would always be there for me, which is what I appreciate in you and Jossian. I’ve been studying a lot lately, and getting myself ready for more courses, a kid died lately, for he had a injure that couldn’t be healed, I am still under the shock, but if I want to keep up, I will have no choice but to remain strong. I still can save many children’s lives and nothing can ever be better than this.
Sincerely yours, Laurë
Dear Sorsha, Ah, I’m not as stupid as he might think I am! I know he secretly cares about me -but doesn’t want to admit it. I guess that’s his stuck up self speaking up, sadly I though that a girlfriend might loosen him, the girl you’ve been talking to me about doesn’t seem to be of any help. Materialistic much, I would be scared to wander through the streets with such an expensive jewel as far as I wouldn’t want to spend my entire pay on it. I never thought that Aldamir would lose his common sense for a girl. But that’s what love does now does it? It’s just a bit strange to see him that way while I’ve known him...differently.
Anyways, Rabryn lost it? Ah well, there’s more girls around than before, hopefully he’ll find the one, some day. As I said before, I’m not afraid of him- he is quite a charmer even I have to admit it. I’m happy that your father feels better already, is he going to work back soon? Or will he need more weeks of rest?
For now, I’m more into my studies than anything else, a kid die and we got sad over it, hopefully I won’t see that too often but I know I will. I didn’t tell you, there’s that cute guy coming over just to see me, but I’m afraid this may not work for I’m leaving in a month to the next town in the south.
Sincerely yours,
Laurë

Dear Laurë, Before I go talking to you about the rest of the family, I absolutely have to tell you a story that happened recently. I was at home and Aldamir and Ellandhra were not back yet, in fact I was expecting. Anyway, I had asked my brother if he could go buy me a new flute because the one I used to play on got damaged - long story and not important. He told me he did but he left without giving it back to me so I went to his room and searched his things for it. Ellandhra walked in and she was furious to see me there. I think that she believes that since she’s seeing him, that room is a bit hers as well until they marry and have a house of their own. Aldamir came before she could really yell at me more than inquiring what I dared do here. I left without the flute that anyway I didn’t find. I close the door but I could hear her complain that I was some pest who denied them some intimacy. And I heard my brother to tell her not to treat me that way! In fact, he asked her to shut up! He then opened the door - I was still behind it - and gave the flute to me, saying that he hoped it was fine. I didn’t manage to talk more of it to him but Ellandhra is watching herself more now when she’s talking to me. I get the feelings that she hates me now though. But no one really like her, she’s condescending even to our mother. I think our way of living is very different of hers so we haven’t seen Aldamir much lately, they’re seeing each other at her house instead. I’m not complaining about it but I just hope she won’t become a member of the family. I never thought Aldamir could have that bad taste. Well, it’s true that she is absolutely gorgeous. It doesn’t need much more for men to lose it.
As for the rest, Balder past a test lately and is his professors love him, they say he’s one of the best. As long as he doesn’t do anything physical, he’s impressive, I admit it. But he’s getting a bit sad that Aldamir isn’t spending more time at home to play chess with him, he was the only other player in the family. Rabryn isn’t trying to find a new love for now but I’m sure it’ll happen soon. And my father will now return to work, but he won’t patrol. He will train the new recruits instead, will be less dangerous.
And other shocking news: I’m in love! He’s the son of our butcher. He likes my direct ways and my smile. He often comes to our house to deliver the meat and says he wants me to smile as a payment for it. His name is Jenssen. Oh I can’t wait to show him to you, really. He doesn’t talk much but he just loves to listen to me and since I speak for twelve...
I’m sorry for this kid. It wasn’t something too awful I hope. It is always very hard. I wouldn’t want to see kids die, they’re so young, there is so much they won’t experience and see. And I’m glad you might find love in your town. Give him a chance, really. Maybe he’s a nice man and he’ll want to be with you and could protect you.
Sorsha

Dear Laurë, We’re doing good at the shop, thank you. I think even if people fear the future, they don’t want to show it yet. It might still change over the years for the better. It’s true I get fewer orders for jewels than I have for cups and engravings. Arien is also a bit hurt by this but people still need to dress so she’s got enough to keep her busy. Like I said, people don’t want to show their fear so they do everything to hide it and nice dresses and new jewels help. I even had the guard, brother of your friend, one day. Since I knew he was someone you knew I reduced the cost slightly. Still, the one he gave this brooch to must be one lucky girl.
You will always find a safe shelter here at the shop. Since your children like it so much I made a little something. It’s a necklace, a plaque of bronze with the white tree of Gondor. The stones are only white pebbles found around but I didn’t want to make it too fancy. I wouldn’t want you to be attacked for having something of great value.
I’m sorry for that kid, really. I hope you take it well. Sometimes, the only thing you can do is be there in the last moment of a person. You’re strong enough to go through that, I don’t worry for you. As long as you try all you can and was there for the child, you did your job, keep that in mind. You have no magical powers, you can’t heal at will every wounds of this world.
Good luck in your life, Keann
P.S.: thank you for not asking too much details about Arien and I. I know she writes to you so maybe she gives some to you but I appreciate you respect my desire to keep it between her and I.

Dear Sorsha, Oh lord, there seems to have quite some drama in your family ! However, I am happy that you finally found love, you deserve it, you’re nice, people may think you’re loud, but really, you’re a sweet girl that understands female matters, obviously, since you’re one too. Forgive me if this letter had been sent later than the previous ones, I travelled a bit and it took me quite a long time to get there. I am now in Lebennin, quite a lovely town too because I get to see the river. The population consists mainly into fishermen and handy men, as well as hard working women. I actually like it a lot, it’s calm and neat, not as big as Gondor was that’s for sure. You remembered when I talked to you about the man? It didn’t last long, he feared to go travel, I’m a bit sad but I’m getting over it, I really liked him, but not enough to settle down. I have the feeling that there’s more to find out about the world and I’m not ready for building a family on my own. I love to travel so much!
Anyways, I’m not surprised by the news you’re telling me about Aldamir, at least, he’s getting his senses back from what you’ve told me. I hope for you that there aren’t going to have as much of silly fights as it used to have with that Ellandhra. The exterior beauty isn’t all that matters, hopefully Aldamir finds something in her that is worth the shot.
Tell to Balder that I am happy he got the exams, I’m certain that he’ll find a great job in the future, after all, not all men need to be strong-take my cousin as an example! He still does great things…just don’t tell him I showed him as an example, he’s rather touchy over private things.
Tell me more about your boyfriend! Are you two planning to settle down? I am happy for you, maybe he’ll even defend you from that Ellandhra! She seems like being such an evil character! I wish you luck in the future, hopefully we’ll meet again soon.
Laurë
**************
Dear Keann, Forgive the waiting for the letter; I am now in the town of Lebennin, a town of fisher men and strong women. I like it better than the previous one, it’s small and neat, and the people are refreshing and welcoming. I’m learning even more things about healers and the job they have to do. They actually have a great couple of people who are amazing at the job, I’m staying for two years.
Oh, I know who you are talking about, Sorsha talked to me about that, it surprised me that he would go and buy such an expensive jewel but I’m not the one to judge him. Besides, he can live his life the way he likes it.
Don’t worry, I’m not asking too much because your lovely Arien is telling me all the details I need to know. When is the wedding planned for? I hope soon and if you two ever marry, I’ll want a souvenir! Thank you so much for the jewelry that you got me, it’s as amazing as the previous one you gave me. I have sent you a book that you and Jossian mike like, about the proprieties of the stones, it might interest you both.
Thank you for your support, Laurë.

Dear Laurë, Thank you for telling me where you are now, this letter will get to you faster that way. I’m not an artist so I can’t send you his portrait. Pity because I wanted you to make yourself an idea of him. He’s a fine man really that I’ve known for quite some time but he only caught my attention recently. We walked together two days ago and he arrived with a flower for me. And not one of those he might have bought somewhere, he took it from a garden. I wonder what the family who owned said garden would think of that but I don’t care. My mother seems to like him. I’m a bit nervous about inviting him home, I know how my brothers would react and I don’t want to scare him with their protective side. They’ll probably tease him a bit, and warn him not to hurt me otherwise it will be the whole army against him or whatever. To give you an idea of his look, he’s rather tall and built, kind of like Aldamir more than Rabryn though so not too muscular. He’s got short dark brown hair and dark eyes. He doesn’t smile that much but he’s nice and he always follows me, no matter what crazy idea I have at the time. He walked me back home from the market yesterday and wanted to learn more about you since I talked of you. So I know he’s really interested in me if he wants to know the people in my life. Just pray it’ll go well when the family will meet him, properly that is, since they already know him.
I’m sorry your love life isn’t as great, at least with this man but the way you talked of this town you might find yourself a good man there too. I understand you, personally I am happy here in Minas Tirith and don’t feel the need to do that but it must be very appealing. You’re still young, as my mother said, you have time to settle down and have a family of your own, first find the right man.
Ellandhra came to the house last evening, to diner. She expressed her joy that she could one day be part of our family. You should have seen Aldamir. Sure, for someone who doesn’t know him he looked the same, but he tensed. She clearly caught him off guard there. I don’t think he’s ready to settle down, not with her at least. We asked more, if he proposed to her and he said it was only ideas, that there was nothing done yet. I think he didn’t plan this and now he’d like to step back.
We also met with Balder’s mentor, a scholar named Rawain. He studies laws mostly but touches everything from philosophy to astronomy to languages and he seemed to have grown a liking for Balder. And Balder is happy since he’s found a chess mate in him. We feared things would get a bit bad for him a week ago because he caught a fever that didn’t seem to wear off but he’s fine now and back to his studies. I was really scared because he had never been this sick, he couldn’t hold any food at all. Well, at least this is over.
I’ll tell you more next time, Sorsha

Dear cousin, I thought you had settled down before but apparently not. I know a bit of the Lebennin. Just make sure no one abuses of you there, I heard there were a few taverns there. I don’t want you to get drunk or attacked by a drunk. I may sound like a father or a protective brother here but we care for you and don’t want anything bad happening to you. At least you like it. I heard the scent of the sea was good for the health, I don’t know if it’s true. Two years seem a lot but if you write, at least we won’t worry here.
Thank you for your book. There were some interesting stones I haven’t used before. I noticed some at the market, perhaps I will try. But lately people prefer engravings to jewelled necklaces. It might change, I never know what tendency is going on, one day they all want silver and rubies, the next it’s gold and pearls.
Why are you talking of wedding? Did Arien mention anything of the like? I haven’t done any proposal, does it mean she wants me to? You know there are a lot of things to think about first, we both have a shop to take care of you know. I don’t want to have her stop because she is my wife or that she has to take care of the family, I want her to do what she likes. And I hope she’s not giving you too many details. I know you, you can say that just to affect me and enjoy the reaction, but still...
In the hope of hearing from you soon, Keann

Dear Sorsha,
I always want you to know where I am, it gives me the feeling that somewhere, you are all still with me and know what I'm doing. I don't have the feeling of being completely lonely , which is what I have felt like so many times before. He sounds like a sweet, you will have to show him to me the day I'll come back, I want to hear more details, maybe he's the perfect man for you and don't worry, I'm sure your family will take care of him just as much as they did for me. Your brothers aren't that bad, even Aldamir, while sometimes he got on my nerves.
Don't worry about my love life, sure I feel lonely sometimes but I enjoy it too, I can do the things that I want, the only difference is that I don't have a man to protect me, but hey, as usual, many men come and offer their help, I know it's for my look they do that. Have I ever told you I had elfin blood? My father was an elf, maybe it's a part of it that attracts people to me, I've always wondered, but anyways, I wish I would've told you face to face instead of by letter. Besides, I can enjoy my time with the men whenever I want, don't get me wrong, I'm not going to give myself to any before my wedding.
From the first time you talked to me about Ellandhra, I have to admit that I'm surprised she seemed to be enthusiastic about the idea of being a part of your family. Do you all get along better than before or is the relationships of every of you and her is getting worse? I sure hope not though.
That's great that Balder found a chess mate! Speaking of it, people thought me how to play, tell him I'll be in game when we'll meet again! I like the logical aspect of this game and never thought it would fascinate me.
I keep on healing people and I have found a mentor that is quite inspiring and willing to teach me everything she knows. A great woman, she is strong and pretty much like Arien, the dress maker I've once worked for. She is intelligent, and every morning, until late in the evening, we are having lessons and she's showing me new ways of how to do things.
Sincerely yours, Laurë

Dear Keann, I'm happy you found the book to be pretty interesting. I might settle down into this town, I have met a woman who is willing to teach me everything she knows since she saw in me a great potential, can you believe it? I have potential into something that doesn't involve archery, I rather impressed myself there! I'm excited for the lessons, we've been working for a week now waking up early in the morning and staying up late for she teaches me everything she knows.
I've also learnt how to play chess, I find it strange I like such a strategic game; after all, it's known to be a game for males more than anything.
Don't worry, Arien isn't telling me all the single details of your life, you should know by know that I still enjoy teasing you every now and then. She said that you two were going fine and that's all that matters to me.
How is Jossian by the way? Did he find a hobby? A new passion? how is he dealing with work? I hope to see you soon,
Laurë
