Arien blinked as she watched Keann and heard him stuttering something that was completely incoherent. What did he mean? She wasn’t quite sure that she got the meaning of his stutters. She tilted her head to the side, looking at him curiously-she should be used to his shy manners but she wanted to make sure that she wasn’t going too fast with anything that she could say or do with her friend.
She finally managed to hear something that was close to he didn’t want it to come out like that. She stared at him for a few seconds, as if she was trying to figure out the meaning. Was he saying that it was a mistake and it wasn’t what he meant or did he just wish that it would’ve come out differently?
She would have to be patient with him and make him state it more clearly if that was the case. However, seeing the blush on his cheeks, it somehow reassured him. She slowly began to understand that he blushed like that because of her. Now that she thought of it, he was only like this in her direction so maybe, it was a good thing and he was sharing her feelings.
“Is it a yes or a no?” She asked as her hands fell on the side of her body, trying as best as she could not to rush him in anyway knowing that because of his shy nature, it might only get more troublesome for him to declare.

Keann hoped she was able to understand what he meant. He didn’t want her to be confused, or think he didn’t like her. In the same time, he sure wasn’t clear. That may cause a problem if he wanted her to get what he meant and the depth of his feelings towards her. She didn’t try to capture his hands again. For that, he was thankful. They were much too wet for now. He was rubbing them against his pants in a gesture he tried to look natural though he was certain it was not the case.
She asked him exactly what it meant, what he said. Of course, he had to be ambiguous, hard to follow. Would it ever end!? It shouldn’t be hard, to say yes. Especially if she was asking. After all, if she shared not his feelings, she’d try to make him see how it was impossible, to be together. That meant she had feelings for him, right? Then why was it so hard?
Finally, he kept his head as low as possible as he nodded. Apparently, saying it that way was a lot easier. He kept nodding for a while. “Yes.” he whispered more softly than ever as he finally stopped nodding. He refused to look at her though. How embarrassing was it to be forced the word out of your lips, especially for this!

Arien smiled softly still as she waited for Keann to be ready and tell her what it was all truly about. Soon, he nodded and answered a yes. For the first time of her life, Arien blushed very lightly which was barely noticeable of course. She was extremely pleased by his words. All the time she had been worrying about this, all the time where she thought he just wanted to be friends and not more than that, all the time she had been waiting for; it ended up being worth of it.
She took a few steps towards him and slowly brought a hand towards his face, lifting it up to press her lips against his, this time longer than last time. She knew that it took a lot of his guts to finally tell her and she was happy that he managed to say it out and that it would also work out.
“Keann, I want to be together with you too.” She whispered as their lips were so very close after she pulled away.

Focused on his shoes, he didn’t notice the blush tainting Arien’s cheeks of a light pink. He startled some when she reached his face with her hand. His eyes were still avoiding her gaze, afraid of what he might see. He froze when he felt her lips brushing his very softly. He dared not to make a move, but believed it lasted longer than before. Perhaps it was only his imagination, it might very well be.
His eyes widened when she said she wanted to be with him as well. Her mouth was still very close to his and he felt her breath as she talked, which produced a shiver down his spine. “R-really?” he stuttered, still not believing it completely. He pulled back only a little, in order to look at her eyes, to see if she was making fun of him there or something. But he stumbled on his feet and fell off the ground. He sat up and as he tried to stand, hurt his head against the counter. He groaned some more, holding his head with a hand where it hit the counter. That was pathetic.
He lifted his gaze as he massaged his head to calm the pain and froze when he saw the door. Laurë was still there, he could see her outside the store. He blushed deeply of his own clumsiness, and - mostly - because that meant she probably have seen everything that happened between them the last few minutes.

Laurë smirked as she watched everything from the beginning. It wasn’t hard for her to do so for they didn’t seem to pay any attention to her or the fact that she was watching them by the door’s window. However, it was even more entertaining when she saw Keann noticing her. She grinned and waved at him as if nothing happened. It only made her giggle seeing her trip like he did. Oh, Jossian was sure to hear of all of this!
Arien couldn’t help but smile, and laugh a little seeing Keann’s reaction. “Of course I do!” She exclaimed with more giggles. She rushed to him seeing how he fell and helped him to regain his balance. “If it continues that way, you might as well end up dead, killed by my bold gesture.” she mused playfully.
“I hope this won’t happen too often!” She added with a large grin. She soon noticed Laurë waving in the window’s door and waved back, smiling and chuckling. “I think your cousin is waiting for you.” she added.

Keann was not really listening to what she was saying as she helped him up on his feet. He held his head a little longer. The pain was still there but it was bearable. Nothing he never knew before after all. So when she laughed, he wasn’t certain of what she was talking about. She talked of his death he knew it. “Uh, what?” he said at first, as he tried to follow her. He finally understood she was only joking and had a small smile as he chuckled too. He was still quite red from embarrassment. Way to go, she says she likes him, and he falls off and hurt his head!
“... Yeah, m-me too.” he said, this time stuttering more because he didn’t fully followed her way of thinking then because he was shy. Maybe a little ashamed, but it was not the cause of his stuttering this time.
He stared at Laurë, grinning at them. Oh, she saw everything, for sure! Arien mentioned he should probably be going and bring her back home. Yes, he supposed so. He waited though. He was out of words. What could he say after what happened, after they kissed and admitted their feelings? Should he kiss her back, say goodbye, that he loved her? He never had any lover of his life, he had no idea. And he didn’t have a mother for his parents to show them how to do it. “Hum... yeah, I .... well, goodbye, I guess.” he told Arien as he looked at her.

Arien smiled and made sure that Keann was fine. After all, the fall might have hurt him but it didn’t seem that aggravated. Good; she would’ve felt bad if it was the case. She didn’t want to cause a ruckus just by a kiss and telling him her feelings. She laughed lightly and went towards him to give him a good bye hug.
“I should have an anti-spy window.” She said jokingly as she grinned back at the teenager who seemed to be rather enthusiastic about what had just happened. Arien wasn’t mad about any of this. If it wasn’t her, maybe even someone random would look at the window and see what was going on.
She nodded at Keann and backed away. “Good bye, you know you can come back anytime, as always.” She told him with a bright smile.
